There's a Dupe For That..

I have been doing a lot of dupe tweets lately after all who doesn't love a good dupe!? Similar products to the high end brands but at a third of the cost! I have decided to share with you via blog post some of the dupes I own.

Top Swatch: Nyx Monte Carlo.     Bottom Swatch: Jeffree Star Cosmetics Redrum

This Nyx cosmetics Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Monte Carlo is a good dupe for Jeffree Star Cosmetics Redrum. The Nyx Soft Matte Lip Creams retail at £5.50 each whereas the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks cost $18 plus shipping from the US.

Top Swatch: Sleek Dare.       Bottom Swatch: Jeffree Star Unicorn Blood

This one is a dupe for colour rather than product the Sleek one is a matte lipstick rather than a liquid lip, but look how close the colours are! If you love the Unicorn Blood Liquid Lip Colour but can't afford it this lipstick from Sleek is a great alternative, they usually retail at £4.99.

Top Swatch: Make Up Academy Symphonic.       Bottom Swatch: Jeffree Star Scorpio

Again this isn't an exact dupe but the colours are highly similar! Symphonic is slightly brighter and a tad more purple, whereas Scorpio is more of a grey toned purple. For £3 however this dupe is a steal!

Top Swatch: Sleek Shabby Chic.       Bottom Swatch: Kylie Cosmetics Posie K.

My favourite dupe of them all Sleek MakeUP's Matte Me in Shabby Chic is the closest dupe I've seen for Posie K yet. I do love this Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit but for $29 it cannot match Sleek's £4.99.

Next up are some dupes for products I do not currently own, but they look similar to swatches I've seen online.

Kat Von D Everlating Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II is a good dupe for Kylie Cosmetics Ginger.

Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Copenhagen is a dupe for the new Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit Leo. (I have just bought Leo so this will be compared when it arrives. I do love a good burgundy red!)

Finally my two Makeup Geek eyeshadows! 

Havoc is a duochrome shade with a mix of green and brown.

This is Havoc swatched it is a good dupe for Urban Decay's eyeshadow in the shade Lounge.

This is Bitten a dark burgundy red is a good dupe for Confession from Jeffree Stars Beauty Killer Paletter, and even though it is possibly slightly darker Blood Milk from Kat Von D's Serpentina Palette. These are £4.95 each on BeautyBay.
