My Favourite Christmas Films
One of my favourite things about the Christmas Season has to be all the Christmas films! Who doesn't love having a pyjama day with cosy blankets and food watching Christmas films.
So I thought I would share with you all some of my favourite Christmas films to watch around this time of the year!

Elf
Literally my favourite Christmas film I watch it every year!
'Will Ferrell stars as Buddy, a human being mistakenly taken to the North Pole as a baby. Brought up by Santa and his elves at the North Pole Buddy believes that he is an elf and has spent the last 30 years happily working in Santa's toy workshop. But as his ungainly size starts to become a liability in the elf-sized working environment, Santa suggests that Buddy head to New York to find his biological father. A 6'5' man dressed as an elf definitley stands out and the good-natured Buddy finds himself in all sorts of scrapes as he gets used to his new family and surroundings - and they get used to him.'
I love this film it is hilarious and Will Ferrell plays such a good part as Buddy this is a great film for children and adults alike.

Love Actually
It wouldn't be Christmas if you didn't watch Love Actually at least once!
Love Actually follows 8 different couples and their romantic relationships during the holiday season. Each tale is interwoven slightly, it makes you laugh, it makes you cry and most of all it gets you into the festive spirit!

The Holiday
This film is pure escapism two women house swap over the Christmas period and both find love. Who doesn't slightly wish that something this unbelievably romantic could happen in real life especially over christmas.

Home Alone
Quite literally a classic! Macauly Culkin plays an 8 year old who has to protect his home from burgalers after accidentally being left at home by his family over Christmas vacation. This leads to some insane gags and tricks. A perfect family Christmas film that gives you so much nostalgia for your childhood. (If like me you grew up watching this film at Christmas.)

The Grinch
Last but not least is The Grinch! Jim Carrey plays the green mean grinch who hates Christmas. As the town of Whoville are preparing their Christmas celebrations the Grinch decides to put a stop to Christmas once and for all! He steals all their presents and decorations on Christmas Eve only to find out the true meaning of Christmas. Dr. Suess's classic tale made into a live action film is a great watch for children and adults!
